Mariah's First Steps!

Well, Mariah has been standing and walking along things since she was about 8 or 81/2 months and yesterday she took her first real steps! A few weeks ago she starting standing alone, not holding on to anything so we knew it would probably be soon. She has pretty good balance but she gets scared to take a step. In the video of her you'll see her taking her steps toward the couch, she only walks if there's something right in front of her to catch her. (She doesn't trust Aaron and I anymore because we move on arms as she tries to grabs them!) I bet its pretty scary for a baby to take their first step. They have to truly take a leap of faith and hope everything turns out OK. Its a great lesson to learn from. Mariah is the love of our lives and we are so thankful to have her as part of our family. She's awesome!
